Shipping policy

For national delivery, we use Evri, who offer nationwide mail order shipping up to a maximum of 15kg. We offer a 'fast' delivery of 1-2 days or standard delivery of 3-5 days and we ship our orders Monday - Friday. Please be aware that Evri do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, so please note that orders placed on Friday will not be delivered over the weekend.  For fast delivery (1-2 days from order date), you must complete your order by 9:30am, otherwise, it will roll onto the next day's shipping. If you are struggling to checkout using the mail order option, please check your basket. Orders weighing over 15kg will not allow you to select mail order (Evri), the easy way to rectify this is to take some items out of your basket and try the checkout again. 

Location Based Additional Charges

Some locations in the UK are more expensive to deliver to than others, for instance, some may require sending parcels using ferries or are located further from Evri depots. Because of this, a limited number of postcodes have a small additional location charge of £2.75 when delivering to those locations. It's not currently possible to reflect this during the shipping process unless you are ordering from Northern Ireland. However if you have ordered goods for delivery to any of the affected postcodes, we will contact you prior to dispatch and invoice you for the additional charge.

Fruit & Veg Boxes, Wines and anything under 'Manchester local', are only available for local delivery in Manchester or for collection from us at 111 Oxford Rd, Manchester, M1 7DU. If your basket is only presenting you with local delivery or collection, and you would like Evri (mail order) delivery instead, check your basket for any items that say they are local delivery only, and remove them.

For local delivery in Manchester, that includes 'Manchester Fresh' products, we use eco-friendly bicycle courier 'Chorlton Bike Co-operative' , a living wage employer and workers' co-operative. They deliver within 5 miles at a flat fee of £6+VAT. We ship every Friday with Chorlton Bike Co-op and the delivery typically arrives between 11am-3pm.

We reuse & recycle cardboard boxes to ship your packages, to help keep waste low and stay as eco-friendly as possible. We also paper tape instead of plastic, compostable starch chips and paper packing materials. We may occasionally have to use plastic bubble wrap to keep certain items safe, but we reuse and recycle wherever we can.
