Valerian is native to Europe and parts of Asia but also grows in North America. The root is used for traditional medicines, and it has a pungent odour which is known to attract cats. Herbalists have used valerian root medicines for thousands of years to help those with sleep disturbance. It was even prescribed to soldiers during and after World War 1. Some of the other names given to Valerian include Phu (because of the strong smell), All-Heal and Vandal Root.

Ingredients: One tablet contains 70mg of dry extract from Echinacea purpurea root equivalent to 460-530mg of Echinacea purpurea (L) Moench root. Extraction solvent: Ethanol 30% v/v.
