Allicin Max Lesterol

Beta-sitosterol is one of hundreds of plant-derived 'sterol' compounds (including stanols) that have structural similarity to the cholesterol made in our bodies. In terms of cholesterol control several human studies have shown that products containing a mixture of phytosterols including beta-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol as found in LESTEROL® can reduce total and LDL cholesterols concentrations by about 20%. As recommended by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) the beneficial effect of plant sterols and stanols is obtained with a daily intake of at least 800mg.
